Team Alban had three options on entering in this match, they could win or they could lose. In comparison, there was no comparison between the teams. The game was balanced in Team Chessher's favour front the start. With 4 minutes gone, the score was already 0-0 and in slow motion replay, the ball seemed to hang in the air for even longer. Chessher viewed that "you don't score 64 points in a game at the highest level without being able to score a point. We simply threw our dice into the ring and turned up trumps". Nick the Greek, semi-professional ringer of Team Alban viewed said "we didn't underestimate them, they were a lot better than we thought. If we played like that every week we wouldn't be so inconsistent". The game came to a stand-off final ball with all points riding on the final point.
